Abstract

Joint Targeting is an effect-based process that identifies, coordinates and executes lethal and non-lethal actions, being categorized in Deliberate and Dynamic Joint Targeting. This last process is applied to the targets of opportunity (targets that were not identified in due time and/or were not selected to act on them at a specific time during the maneuver). However, at national context there seems to be no complete understanding of the Dynamic Joint Targeting, identifying the need to adopt a conceptual approach under a systemic view to apply in a correct way the Dynamic Joint Targeting framed and integrated within the Cycle of Joint T argeting.
