Abstract




In 2006, an armed conflict took place between Israel and the Lebanese guerrilla Hezbollah better known as the Second Lebanon War. This conflict had the peculiarity of having faced conventional forces with a superior armored capacity represented by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) against a guerrilla with great anti- armor capacity and use of irregular tactics, techniques and procedures. The scope of this article is to analyze the performance of the Israeli armored forces against an unconventional threat, in the tactical level.
