Contribution of the Chilean Army to effective sovereignty in the Aysen region

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to determine the contribution of the Chilean Army to effective sovereignty in the Aysen region. For this purposes, it builds up a conceptual framework in relation to effective sovereignty and the most important dimensions. Then, identify the development objectives determined by the regional government that contribute to the role of the state and who rely significantly in the army. Finally, to address the tasks carried out by the Chilean army in the region for the benefit of regional development and security.
